Our Mission & Purpose
Our mission is to support the library and its patrons through various activities and fundraising efforts. We encourage gifts, endowments and financial support for the library. By maintaining an association of book enthusiasts and raising awareness about the library's services, we play a crucial role in enriching the community's cultural landscape.
The Friends of the Cumberland County Public Library, Inc., is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization and supports the library in fulfilling its literary, educational, technological, community and cultural purposes. We are a volunteer group, enhancing library services for everyone and encouraging gifts, endowments and financial support that would not otherwise be possible.
